Mr Eddie Patterson (Ireland)Mr Eddie Patterson (Ireland)

We got our first Ridgeback in 1988 and have been honoured to be involved with the breed ever since. In 1990 we imported our first stud dog, Rockridge Columbus, from Bill & Joey Howard of the Rockridge Kennels in South Africa. This gave us the foundation for our own kennel which we named Rocksham.  We are very selective in our breeding, taking great care as to what and when we breed.  Over the past 35 years we have produced many Champions to Irish, GB & International titles but more importantly have maintained good health and temperament within our breeding.

I started judging in 1992 at Open Show level and in 1998 I progressed to my first Championship appointment in Ireland awarding Green Stars (CACs/CCs) in Rhodesian Ridgebacks. Since then I have been privileged to have judged the breed at National & International Championship level in many countries throughout Europe also in South Africa and Australia. I am also approved to and have award CCs in Rhodesian Ridgebacks under English Kennel Club Regulations. In 2022 I was approved as a National All Breeds Judge by the Irish Kennel Club and an International FCI All Breeds Judge.

I am the President and Show Manager of my local All Breed Championship Club, Newtownards & District Canine Club. I am currently President of the Rhodesian Ridgeback Club of Ireland, previously having served as Chairman and Committee Member. I have served on the Irish Kennel Club’s Judges Education and Championship Show Committee.

Giselle JeannesMs Giselle Jeannes (New Zealand)

I grew up with Dalmatians and Bull terriers as family pets and bought my first Dalmatian in 1992 and entered the show world a couple of years later coming home from my first Open Show with a few cans of dogfood and a fist full of ribbons and was hooked. I then added Parson Russell Terriers in 1995 and have imported 4 from the UK to establish my lines. I'd always been a big fan of Siberian Huskies and purchased my first dog in 1996 but only became heavily involved in the breed in 2003.

I'm a breeder of Dalmatians and Parson Russell Terriers (under the Charizelle prefix)  and Siberian Huskies (under the Snowolf prefix).

I’ve served on the committees of The Dalmatian Club of New Zealand and the Dalmatian Club of South Africa where I am a life member as well as Honorary Vice-President. I became an All Breeds judge in 2023 and have been panelled for the Non-Sporting Group since 2013.
